Pharmacovigilance, the international situation

An international meeting with the participation of European and African countries bordering the Mediterranean has been the occasion to take stock of the international situation in the field of pharmacovigilance and initiate collaborative projects on topics of common interest. The main theme discussed was that of medical errors, included among the events to be reported by the new pharmacovigilance legislation, and the involvement of patients in the context of the reports.
